About Our Protection of Personal Information

1. Personal Data We Collect

The Company collects the following personal data when customers register as members, make inquiries, or otherwise use the Company’s website.

  • Contact information: name, email address, telephone number, address (country, state/city, postal code, street address, etc.)
  • Organization-related information: company name, department name, job title

Business-related information: industry, business activities, dispenser usage status

2. Purposes of Use of Personal Data

The Company uses the personal data it collects only for the following specific purposes.

  • To respond to and provide support for customer inquiries, quotation requests, and technical questions
  • To provide download services for product catalogs, specifications, CAD data, and other materials requested by customers
  • To analyze information entered by customers, such as industry and dispenser usage status, as well as website browsing history, in order to propose products suited to customer needs and to support the Company’s marketing activities and product development

Only if the customer has agreed on the form to receive newsletters: to distribute newsletters, exhibition information, and new technology announcements related to the Company’s products after obtaining the prior consent of the individual concerned.

3. Consent and Withdrawal (Opt-in Method)

The Company processes personal data only when it has obtained the customer’s prior explicit consent (opt-in). Customers have the right to withdraw this consent at any time. If you wish to withdraw your consent, please contact the “Grievance Desk” described below. If consent is withdrawn, the Company will immediately stop using the relevant data.

4. Provision and Sharing of Data with Third Parties

The Company does not sell customers’ personal data to third parties.

The Company may share or provide customers’ personal data to its Japanese headquarters ([Musashi Engineering, Inc.]), local distributors, sales partners, or service providers in order to respond promptly and appropriately to customer inquiries, such as local sales support, submission of quotations, and maintenance support.

By agreeing to this Privacy Policy, customers are deemed to have consented to the provision of data to third parties for the purposes described above, including the transfer of data to Japan. The Company also requires these recipients to implement appropriate data protection measures and strictly prohibits use for any purpose other than those stated.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

The Company retains customers’ personal data only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes described in “2. Purposes of Use of Personal Data” above.

When the purpose of use has been achieved, or when the customer withdraws consent, the Company will immediately delete the relevant personal data without waiting for a deletion request from the customer. However, data that must be retained under applicable laws and regulations will be securely stored only for the legally required retention period.

6. Rights of Customers (Data Principals)

Under the DPDP Act, customers are guaranteed the following rights.

  • Right to nominate: the right to nominate another person in advance in case the customer becomes unable to exercise these rights
  • Right of access: the right to request disclosure of personal data held by the Company concerning the customer
  • Right to correction and update: the right to request correction or update of inaccurate or incomplete personal data
  • Right to erasure: the right to request deletion of the customer’s personal data
